How do I find out about new career opportunities at NCSH?

A list of current job openings can be found by selecting the career opportunities link. Each job posting will provide the applicant with important details about the job, such as work duties, skills or qualification required, employment status and benefits, etc.

Where do I obtain an employment application?

Employment applications can be downloaded, or you can stop by and pick up an application at our Human Resources office located at:

Is a cover letter included with my resume necessary?

It’s highly recommended. We would like to know who you are and why you want to work for our organization. A cover letter provides you with the opportunity to introduce yourself and explain why you’re exploring new employment opportunities. Additionally, you may want to share relevant experiences or explain gaps/changes in your resume.

I submitted my resume; why haven’t I heard back from NCSH?

Due to the high volume of resume submissions, we cannot personally respond to every applicant. Your resume will be considered very carefully, and should we have further interest in learning more about your background, a hiring manager or a representative from Human Resources will be in touch. Should you not be selected, your resume will be kept on file for one (1) year for future consideration for other job openings.

Do you have any employment or interview tips that may benefit me?

  • Double check your cover letter, resume and/or employment application to ensure all the information you provided is accurate, to include all work experience. We will question gaps in your resumes.
  • Regularly check your voice mail as we always call the contact number you provided to arrange and schedule interviews.
  • We offer a business casual dress code environment. Wear appropriate attire and be prepared to discuss your work history, qualifications, available hours, and salary.
  • If you are selected to interview, give yourself plenty of time to travel to our facilities and show up on time. Should you be late, be a professional and call your interviewer as a courtesy.
  • Be honest. We want to know not only your accomplishments, but how you learned from past mistakes.
  • Don’t be nervous. Arrive early, be positive and display confidence, open and approachable, smile and make eye contact, and don’t be afraid to ask questions.
