Non-Residential Treatment

North County Serenity House- Serenity Too Non-Residential treatment program provides comprehensive outpatient treatment to low-income, pregnant, and parenting women (age 18 and over).

NCSH Non-Residential TreatmentPrograms

Programs range from an intensive day treatment program (five days a week, six hours a day), to an evening outpatient program (T, W, TH, 3 hours an evening), and a 12 week Aftercare program ( one day a week for 1 ½ hours).

Success

100% of the babies born to the women enrolled in outpatient program are born alcohol and drug free. 95% of enrolled participants are enrolled in employment or employment prep activities. 98% of women enrolled had no new arrests.*

Women We Serve

NCSH Non-Residential Treatment serves about 150 women per year. Our capacity is 65 women at any given time. e) Clients are assigned a primary treatment counselor and together develop a personalized treatment plan. Counselors, case managers, and qualified guests provide group and individual counseling on life skills issues (e.g. relationships, finances, goal setting, women’s health, parenting, nutrition, anger management, and community building) and AOD issues (e.g. characteristics, social effects, psychological and physiological effects, and pharmacological aspects). Recovery information is provided that prevents and minimizes the health risk of alcohol and other drug abuse and relapse prevention is provided along with alternative coping skills. In addition, we will treat you with respect and do our part to make this a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. We will introduce you to a set of tools that will help you deal with life problems without the use of alcohol and drugs. Lunch and bonding at the program is important and mandatory.
